Put together by Mary Lou Simpson, who has been caring for the Common plants for many years, and who coordinates the Tuesday Common Carers, this guide will help you familiarize yourself with the most common weeds, and beneficial plants, at the Oxley Creek Common.
If you would like to help removing weeds, please join one or more of the following groups who regularly remove weeds and plant new plants around the Common. Any help is always appreciated.
- Tuesday Common Carers (every Tuesday, 7-9am)
- Bushcare and Beer (2pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month)
- Walk and Weed (7am on the 1st Saturday of the month)
